DIF? CFP? What is it about ?
In addition to the DIF hours accumulated before 2014 and converted into euros, employees benefit from an annual CPF contribution of €500 within the limit of a ceiling of €5. This annual contribution can be increased to €000 and the ceiling to €800 in certain cases (employees without qualifications and disabled workers).
The Personal Training Account allows each employee to accumulate training rights according to their experience, and which can be mobilized throughout their professional life, to secure their career and maintain their employability.
If the use of the CPF is the sole will of your employee, you can nevertheless, as an employer, inform him, support him and guide him in his project.
What can the CPF fund?
The CPF can be used to follow long or short training courses, in a training center or online, in order to obtain diplomas or qualifications recognized by the State, we speak of RNCP qualifications.
Concretely, the CPF can be used to obtain for example:
- Training for the acquisition of a qualification,
- The acquisition of a base of knowledge or skills,
- Accompaniment to the VAE,
- A skills assessment,
- The B permit…
Training can take place during working hours or outside of it. It should be noted that the employer's agreement is not required when the employee wishes to take training that takes place outside working hours.
How to help your employees?
Many employees do not know that they can use the CPF to progress in their career and what types of training it can finance. You can suggest to your employees to take advantage of their CPF and the targeted training can be compatible with the training provided for in the plan.
It is quite possible to consider setting up training courses in line with your needs and to offer your employees the possibility of using their CPF to follow them. The latter are, of course, free to accept or refuse.
Finally, it is tempting for some employees who have not planned to use their CPF account to want to monetize the credit to recover it, or even to sell it to a third party. Since the CPF is nominative and intended to finance certain training courses, these options are currently not possible.
