The example of our carpentry training organized in Derval
Our latest project was built to respond to recruitment difficulties encountered by a common client of our agencies Abalone Rennes BTP et Abalone Nantes Industry (Martin Carpentry).
Faced with a shortage of profiles in basic carpentry (installation of windows, baseboards, cupboards, etc.), we were able to offer him to source the trainees (upskilling of temporary workers and new candidates looking for training), to offer them specific training in line with the business needs of the company and to place them in delegation within its structure to offer them a concrete learning environment.
Faced with the same difficulties with its clients, our agency Abalone Chateaubriant, joined the device.
By organizing training in Derval (35), our partner Quasar Training was able to solve all the logistical aspects: accommodation, transport, etc.
By setting up this training, we have responded to 2 major issues of our customers:
- the lack of labor on the market
- training on a very scarce profile
- the securing of the course by the proposal of Interim CDI
Today, all the participants have completed their training and are putting their knowledge into practice in the workplace.

Customer request
Our client shares with our branch managers the difficulties he is encountering.
Training proposal
Our partner Quasar Training proposes to meet the business needs of our client through a training program.
Validation of the course
The client has validated the training set-up: content, duration, training organization, delegation coefficient, etc.
Recruitment
Our agencies have sourced 7 candidates between:
▪ temporary workers wishing to improve their skills;
▪ new candidates looking for training.
Planning
Depending on the needs of the different learners, Quasar Formation sets up the training system and answers all financial and logistical questions:
▪ search for funding;
▪ reservation of a lodging near the place of training for accommodation;
▪ organization of taxi transfers for learners who do not have a driving license or a vehicle.
Training
Learners are paid during the 9 weeks of training at Derval, between theoretical training and practical exercises.
A weekly follow-up is set up.
Put into practice
At the end of the theoretical and practical training, the learners will be able to exercise their new know-how in business with our customers.
Hiring
Following the training, each participant joins a customer team under a classic interim contract or an Abalone interim CDI.
