The emblematic Marathon de Nantes becomes the Abalone Marathon de Nantes for a period of 3 years!
On the occasion of the 40th edition of the emblematic running event, the company producing the event Sport Ouest Organization and Abalone announce the signing of a naming contract for the next 3 years! We thus become the first title sponsor of the event.
We want to make this event a moment of meeting for our employees, temporary workers and customers. We will all be able to run together the mythical distance of 42,195km in relay, in order to create a unique moment of conviviality. Moreover, at a time when the protection of the planet is one of the major challenges of the years to come, the Nantes event wishes to be exemplary and reduce its footprint on the environment. This CSR commitment also appealed to us. Since 2016, the Marathon de Nantes has taken a large number of solidarity and environmental measures. By 2022, the Marathon de Nantes wishes to work on 3 axes: catering for volunteers, rewards and mode of transport.
An event that has become essential in France, the Marathon de Nantes maintains its position as the 5th French marathon. After a record edition in 2019, where all the races were sold out a month before D-Day, 18.000 runners are expected for 2022.
